The history on the Murray Hoffman bike:
Team Vesco 1974 TD2/Champion Flat Tracker
Rider: Murray Hoffman

T
he motor started life in Don Vesco's bonneville streamliner. In 1973 Don broke the world land speed record for the 250cc class at 189.529 M.P.H. This record still stands today after 29 years.

1974 Don built the flat tracker for Murray Hoffman to ride at Ascot Park . He placed 2nd in the Yamaha Gold Cup Series in the novice class.

Later in years the bike was sold to a person who rode it as a dirt bike. That didn't last long . Don Vesco bought it back and it was in 4 boxes. (Thank God for boxes) It was all there in pieces. I bought the boxes from Don and restored it to Murray's days at Ascot.
